Mulled Wine Recipe

Simple and Delicious 

1 bottle dry red wine
2 cinnamon sticks
1 dessert spoon cloves (approx 6 - 8)
5 dessert spoons caster sugar
2 orange including the peeled rind
1 lemon including the peeled rind
1 teaspoon grated nutmeg
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1 dried bay leaf

Place all ingredients into a saucepan, heat gently to let all the flavours infuse without boiling the mixture. Add more sugar to taste.
