Victorian Beetonette Stove / Range Cooker
This stove has the potential to be a really beautiful central feature to a room, as well as a working oven. It was previously installed in our house (see photo), and has a lovely character. It has a chamber for a fire (it would take wood and/or coal), a separate oven and hot plates on top.
Beetonette stoves are now very rare, and there are very few left in working order. This one has the potential to be refurbished and could be brought back to working order with some TLC.
It has suffered water damage to its back from a leaking chimney, so the back is in a worse condition than the front and the rear and side panels would need replacing. These are simply rectangular metal panels, and could be manufactured relatively simply. The front could easily be refurbished - it has superficial rust which would need to be rubbed down and repainted.
